Parish Council

Ettington Parish Council serves both Ettington and Fulready.

It acts on behalf of the community on issues such as planning, highways and street lighting, and provides a voice for local people to raise matters of concern. It also provides funds towards activities and organisations in the parish.

There are nine seats on Ettington Parish Council – one reserved for a resident of Fulready.  The current councillors, together with their contact details and specific lead roles , are:

There are currently three vacancies for members, two for Ettington and one for Fulready.

Being a councillor need not be hard work: a paid clerk takes on most of the administration. Members relish the insight it gives them into the workings of their community, and the chance to influence local decision-making.  Anyone interested in being co-opted as a parish councillor then contact the Clerk (see below).
